Issue/Introduction

 TSS abends on the system console. The message begins as follows:

No system problems result from this abend. 

Looking back in syslog, there are similar abends with different offsets in TSSKERNL:

Resolution

A Dump provided the following information:
TP237146 running program GO attempted to take a dump U4087 (not enough storage in the region). The job was unable to take that dump and was terminates when a RACROUTE REQUEST=EXTRACT is issued.
TSS attempts to get x'100' bytes of 24-bit storage and TSS gets the S878 abend.

The following setting are in SMFLIM00 parmlib:
REGIONBELOW(NOLIMIT) 
The program used all the available storage below-24M line and causes the S878 abend.
