APM ASM monitor is reporting gaps

Issue/Introduction

No Gap in ASM but in Metric Browser, information is missing.

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Resolution

1. Open the bundle.properties file

2. Set

asm.waittime=60000(5mins). This property set the API polling interval to 5 mins.

asm.configUpdateInterval=0, This property is to re-read the folders, monitors and monitoring stations from every asm.configUpdateInterval.

The default value configUpdateInterval is 60 mins. Every 60 mins the asm monitor will re-read the configuration.

Disclaimer: 

By setting it to 0, means the configuration will not be updated. If there are any changes to the asm then asm agent needs to be restarted.

We don't recommend to set the above property value to 0, unless asm monitors gaps are huge on every hour. 

 

3. Restart the InfrastructureAgent
