Does the CCS Agent install MS Access 2010 Database components?

Issue/Introduction

When the CCS agent is installed or updated, are there any CCS Agent components that installs MS Access 2010 Database components?  

Environment

Release : 12.x

Component : CCS agent on Windows Core Servers

Resolution

The CCS agent install media does install MS Access 2010 on Windows Core Servers only to be able to perform data collection.  All other CCS agents that are installed on non Windows Cores servers do not require MS Access 2010, and so it is not installed by CCS.

NOTE the following:

• MS Access is required for data collection on agent-based Windows Core servers
• Agentless data collection does not require MS Access 2010
• Newer versions of MS Access, like MS Access 2016, does not work and will cause errors.
