Reports to audit deployment activity in CA Release Automation

Issue/Introduction

Hello

for internal security check we need a query to extract information for a specific user login on Nolio.

The needed information are (based on username) related to the deployments executed on that account and in details on which application and environment and in which date that deployment was executed

Is it possible to extract this information from the DB?

Release : 6.6, 6.7

Resolution

To audit deployment activity the recommendation is not to do via DB scripts/query as release data is scattered among various tables of CA RA database. The recommended way to audit/get deployment data for any external analysis or audit is to use report "Deployment Overview"

• Setup Deployment Overview Report
• Login to ROC (Release Operation Center)
• On the Dashboard, click on + (Add Content)

• In the Pop-up window under tab "Reports" select "Deployment Overview"

• The "Deployment Overview" report will be added to your dashboard. Deployment Overview report(screenshot) below

 

Filters: Numerous filters are available to end users, to skim off data of interest

Export: Reports data can be exported to PDF or CSV to be consumed or used in external analysis.
