Process Monitoring in AWI using the US date format on standar European Environment in Edge and Chrome

Issue/Introduction

Customer cannot change the date format from MM/DD/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY in AWI. (MS edge)
This is only happening with a new installation of AE21, no problem for the older versions.
The region "German" and date format "dd.MM.yyyy" are set on the server and client.

Cause

AWI bases the displaying of Date on the Languages Browser's language settings. Language settings in Edge can be changed as follows.

To enable the date format DD/MM/YYYY a language must be selected the is included in the geographical zone that uses DD/MM/YYYY, like for instance German, French or Italian

Resolution

If this settings adjustment do not fix the problem, then AWI version must be checked. Make sure not to use a very find a very first AWI Version like "Automic Web Interface 21.0.0-release-21.0.0-54-e469795982c"

In Version "Automic Web Interface 21.0.0-hotfix-21.0.0+hf.1-24-f0de094e450".

The problem does no longer appear, and the browser language settings, will be applied accordingly.

Make sure to use this version of AWi do have the language settings applied accordingly..

 

Additional Information

The problem was confirmed in the in the Jetty Launcher component of AWI, possibly may also affects AWi on application server.
