CA1 - only the first file is recorded in the TMC file.

Issue/Introduction

 

During the DB2 backed up process, when the multifiles monovolume or multifiles multivolumes  are created, only the first file of the chain is recorded in the TMC file. 

All files are cataloged correctly.

 

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : CA 1 Tape Management

Resolution

The volume will need to be manually updated within the TMC to reflect the
true creation information and expiration date.                           
                                                                         

The SO11264 should be applied to correct this problem.
