oi_connector probe writes to queue beyond retention_period when OI connection is not available

Issue/Introduction

oi_connector used to connect to DX SaaS OI.

When oi_connector probe retention_period is set, and OI connection is not available, the probe keeps writing data files to local disk beyond the set retention period. 

This results in local disk filling up with 100 MB .sds -files until the disk is full.

No data is deleted from the message queue despite the retention_period set to even 10 minutes

 

 

Environment

Component : UIM - OI_CONNECTOR 1.42 or earlier

Resolution

Upgrade the oi_connector to at least version 1.44 to resolve this issue.
