Issue/Introduction

Does Telon release 5.1 use authorization codes as in previous releases?

Example: 
COMPONENT WL       WL = BASE OPTION              PASSWORD xxxxxxxx

Resolution

Release 5.1 of Telon does not have or use authorization codes for components, unlike the prior releases.

Please see the cover letter for release 5.1, which states:
Through TELON r5 SP0, product authorization keys were entered into the install job JCL for each release.  Beginning with r5.1 SP0, product authorization keys will  not be used. Instead, product and maintenance will be loaded to DASD using LMP keys.
