DX Netops Spectrum Location Server not starting after upgrade - CORBA TIMEOUT

Issue/Introduction

After copying in the custom directory the Location Server will not start.

Environment

Release : 21.2.x

 

Resolution

This is likely due to the $SPECROOT/custom/VBNS directory missing.

When the custom folder was copied and over wrote the existing - that directory went missing.

This directory can be copied from another installation of the same version.

Restart the processd service afterwards (locserver may need to be killed/task ended)
