DX NetOps Spectrum install on Windows failed starting mysql

Issue/Introduction

While running a fresh install of Dx NetOps Spectrum 21.2.6 on Windows, the install failed with the following message in the port install log file:

** Error during net start mysql

Environment

Release : 21.2

Component : Install

Cause

There was a space in the directory where the install media resided. For example:

C:/Spectrum Install Media

Resolution

Remove the space in the directory and reinstall.
