Error 'Module not found' is returned when 'Option 8 - Maintain products' is selected from Product Installation utility.

Issue/Introduction

Error 'Module not found' is sometimes returned when 'Option 8 - Maintain products' is selected, regardless of the Software Delivery Method, Electronic, Cartridge or CA Mainframe Software Manager. A message is displayed on top right of the panel indicating the error.

Resolution

This error occurs because the RXGIMAPI module is not accessible from hlq.CC2DLINK dataset.

 

The Installation manual recommends defining this Dataset in the LINKLIST as follow:

 

Important! The dsnpref.CC2DLINK data set must be in your system LNKLST before you start maintenance. You can also create a STEPLIB to the data set name (DSN) in your TSOPROC (that is, allocate it to ISPLLIB).
