Issue/Introduction

When I run 2E Toolkit command YCVTSPLF the following error occurs:

CPFA0A9 - Object /YSPLF/XXXXX.PDF or a directory in the object path could not be found or its type cannot be resolved by this function.

 

 

Environment

CA 2E version 8.7 and higher

Cause

This can occur if the folder YSPLF does not exist or the YCVTOPTP file in your CA 2E Toolkit Data Objects library doesn't have the correct path/record.

Resolution

Use WRKFLR and if necessary create a default folder YSPLF attached to the root. 

Run YWRKF on file YCVTOPTP in your Toolkit Data Objects library.

Use option 8 to Display the *USER record. This should have the default value of path as "/ysplf/".

Additional Information

If you want to place converted spool files in a different folder, simply create the folder and update the path in the YCVTOPTP file.
