What to respond to the message: CAL2R054E IGS0XXXX SVC nnn IN USE, when trying to initialize CA 7 with CAIRIM?
If a previous CAIRIM initialization of CA 7 has been completed and then deleted, you may get this message when trying to re-initialize CA 7 with CAIRIM without an IPL. To resolve this, add FORCESVC to the GLOBAL INIT (or INITC) statement and rerun CAIRIM.
If you get this message after an IPL, some other product or program is using the SVC number named in the nnn, you can change the CA 7 SVC number by adding SVC(nnn) to the GLOBAL INIT (or INITC) statement.
