Issue/Introduction

Is Web Viewer r14 unique per LPAR or can multiple repositories and LPARs be associated to one Web viewer hub?  Example if there are 3 LPARS with 3 View repositories on each.  Can there be one url server able to access all in one place?  Would create Roles for users to access the repositories.

So far we have three r14 servers running on three different LPARs and have to access three urls to access the repositories.

Resolution

No, you can not have a single Web Viewer hub in the scenario you describe. 12.1 Web Viewer supports cross-LPAR access through CCI and a CCI Gateway. 14.0 Web Viewer does not use CCI and so it lost the cross-LPAR capability and that's why you must have an entirely separate Web Viewer 14.0 for each LPAR you want to access. This is a release parity issue. 

Restoring cross-LPAR support for 14.0 Web Viewer is an enhancement which is in the Development backlog.
