CA Workload Automation AE - System Agent (AutoSys)

Issue/Introduction

Via IXP attempting to view standard out appears to be a limit on what is shown.  Out file on server contains more information than what is delivered via IXP view of standard out.

Agent on Linux server:

Agent Release:      11.4
Agent Build:        1609, Service Pack 00, Maintenance Level 0

IXP version:

11.4.0.135

Note: Use is agreeable to demonstrate the issue via Web-ex.

Environment

Release : 11.4

Component : Workload Automation System Agent

Resolution

The limit is set on the Application Server side.

In the config.<SID>, the parameter of LogMaxEndLines set the maxmum of lines from the end of a spool file that can be retrieved. See the documentation of this parameter at the following URL:

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/intelligent-automation/workload-automation-ae-and-workload-control-center/11-3-6-SP8/administrating/ae-administration/configure-an-application-server/logmaxendlines.html

AutoSys 11.3.6 SP8 CUM1 introduce new variation of this parameter as documented in the 11.3.6 SP8 CUM1:
