Failed Bulkload Submission using the Bulkload client. org.xml.sax.SAXException: Bad envelope tag: HTML

Issue/Introduction

While submitting the Bulkload via Bulkload client we are getting the below error.

Failed to submit data to server: ; nested exception is:
        org.xml.sax.SAXException: Bad envelope tag:  HTML

 

Environment

Release : 14.3

Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)

Resolution

Changed the serverUrl in imbulkloadclient.properties to bypass the Proxy and SM all together and go to the vApp server directly over port 8080 (serverUrl=http\://IP_OF_VAPP\:8080/iam/im/TEWS6/identityEnv) and were able to submit the CSV successfully. This indicates the problem is not directly within IM server but either Proxies - the Web Agent or the built in Proxy in vApp - depending on how the redirect is configured on the Web Agent Proxy server.
