Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to DevTest 10.7, custom Authorization Header encryption values are no longer sent from the REST step.
In previous versions, any custom value could be entered in an Authorization Header value in the REST step.

Also POST and Authorization Header with 'Bearer {{access_token}}' is erroring out with an Unauthorized error.

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : DevTest Workstation

Resolution

The new Authorization tab in the DevTest 10.7 version of the REST step follows the HTTP Basic Authorization header standard (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc7617).
Custom encryption is not following this standard.
But as custom encryption was possible in a previous version, a patch for DevTest 10.7 is available from support (DE524020).

Additional Information

patch_DE524020_10.7.0_LTD.jar is not needed for DevTest 10.7.2
