ODATA v4 Failing in only with Microsoft SSIS

Issue/Introduction

Microsoft SQL Service Integration Services (as part of Visual Stuio 2017 or 2019) cannot load the v4 odata interface

Environment

Release : 15.9.3, 16.0, 16.0.1

Component : ODATA

Cause

Defect in SQL Server Development Tools

Resolution

Odata Version 2 is still functional with SSIS

This works in all other Odata tools and is a Microsoft Defect

Microsoft has stated they have no plans to support odata connections connections other than the ones listed here:

We have only tested it against Microsoft AX, CRM online, and Sharepoint lists.
