Raw alarms not correlating as a service alarm to create incident

Issue/Introduction

We have observed that the raw alarms in the DOI is not getting correlated to create a service alarm that is not generating any incidents.

 

 

 

Environment

Release : 20.2

Component : CA DOI ALARM ANALYTICS

Resolution

It can be due to UIM vertices being expired for the tenant. That is the reason alarm enrichment and incident creation are not working. In order to fix this observation need to refresh UIM inventory into TAS.

How to refresh UIM inventory in TAS:

1. Deactivate the apm_bridge probe.
2. Rename/delete cache folder & delete store folder within apm_bridge folder. Cache folders will have a large number of 1 KB files in most deployments so deleting will take a very long time, so renaming the folder would work. 
3. Activate the probe.
