Issue/Introduction

This article provides instructions for purging import processes in Identity Governance that remain stuck in the "Create" stage. If an import process becomes unresponsive due to temporary network connectivity loss or database latency, it may require manual intervention to clear the stuck job.

Environment

Identity Governance 14.x & 15

Cause

This might due to network or database issues

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must enable the option to purge all import processes by modifying the system property settings.

  1. Log in to the Identity Governance user console as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Home > Administration > Settings > Property Settings.
  3. Locate the property: com.ca.internal.purge.importExportCorrelation.allowPurgeAll
  4. Modify the property value to True.
  5. Save your changes.
  6. Once the property is updated, navigate back to the Import/Export management view to purge the stuck process.

Note: Ensure you revert this property to its default value after the stuck process has been successfully purged to maintain standard system security and operational integrity.
