Fiber ports are showing as Ethernet ports for the discovered device in Spectrum OneClick

Issue/Introduction

We have discovered a few devices of type FL NAT 2304-2GC-2SFP switches. These switches have fiber ports. However, in Spectrum OneClick, these ports are showing as ethernet ports.

Cause

Spectrum uses the value of the ifType attribute in the interfaces mib on the device to display the Type column in the Interfaces tab. It is a direct read of this attribute from the interfaces table on the device. Spectrum is only displaying the value read.

Resolution

None as Spectrum is only reading and displaying the value from the ifType attribute on the device.
