Issue/Introduction

We have a search criteria for the Default Domain that will synch with Performance Manager.  In our Search Criteria we remove 3 landscapes in a DSS that we do not want to synch with PM.

Over time these 3 landscapes are re-added automatically into the Default Domain which causes synch issues with Performance Manager for devices we do not want to synch.

Environment

Release : 20.2.x

Component : Spectrum Integrations with Performance Manager

Cause

Missing CAPCIPDomain_PCGuid (0x5c4000d) attribute value allowed for the landscapes to be re-added over time unexpectedly.

Resolution

We noticed that when the default domain has the CAPCIPDomain_PCGuid (0x5c4000d) attribute set then everything appears to work correctly.  When the default domain was recreated we noticed the CAPCIPDomain_PCGuid was already populated. Now that the CAPCIPDomain_PCGuid is populated the problem should not return.

The CAPCIPDomain_PCGuid attribute was created on Spectrum 10.4.1 and this environment was upgraded from 10.3.2 to 20.2.7 which is why the PCGUID did not previously exist.

Additional Information
