Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

The ACF0ATAM and ACSV3TAM are in a generalized object file format (GOFF) which is different from object module (OBJ) format. The GEOFF format uses similar records names as OBJ record names(HDR/ESD/TXT/RLD/END) however these names do not appear anywhere on the records(making the object module appear to be garbled). So in this case PTF SO16143 contains modules in both GEOFF and OBJ format. Only ACF0ATAM and ACSV3TAM modules are in GEOFF format. Details can be found in IBM documentation Generalized object file format (GOFF).
