Issue/Introduction

Why does an in progress jobstream run show a status of "Exceeds Forecast Period" on the monitoring tab if AAI?

Environment

Release : 6.4.1

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

An in progress jobstream run may show up with a status of "Exceeds Forecast Period" if the Predicted End Time is longer then Now + the value set for the forecastPeriod parameter in the configuration tool(Default is 48 hours).

You can adjust this forecast period, but there may be a performance impact on memory or time it take a jammer cycle to complete, so any change should be monitored.

To change, launch the AAI Configuration tool and go to the Parameters tab, and under "less commonly configured" parameters look for forecastPeriod.

Once you make a change, click "Apply" and you should see a message like below indicating that a service restart is not needed.
