Agent AS/400 can't' copy spool files into "OAFPWQJB" because it has status finished

Issue/Introduction

The agent tries to copy several spool files into "OAFPWQJB", however the spoolfile 2 has the status finished and cannot be copied.

The agent log shows the following error:

20211125/151044.906 - U02000008 Job 'AS400.JOBS' with RunID '66657795' ended normally.
20211125/151044.906 - U02002040 Disconnected from '2' (socket handle = '10.20.30.16:32101').
20211125/151045.937 -           CPF1241 Job 739727/QBATUC4/DSPLIBL completed normally on 25.11.21 at 15:10:44.

Cause

The AS400 system on customer has a spool management program activated, called CMC. This program takes the spools generated in the Outq QPRINT and archives them immediately.

This action takes place before the Agent is able to retrieve the generated spool with status *FINISHED from QPRINT. This is the reason for the U02006020/U02006021 messages in the agent log, this explains also why job reports are not available in One Automation

 

This is a defect

Resolution

An issue has been fixed where an AS400 Job will fail when Job creates spool file and the SpoolFile will become status *FINISHED.

 

Solution:

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.
