While adding an NTP server on Proxy with Key Type selected as sha1 getting error %Authentication key contains non hexadecimal characters
While adding an NTP server Key Type is selected as sha1 and in for Key value you've entered original key value and not the correct sha1 hash of the actual key.
For example:
Key Type: sha1 (selected)
Original plain text Key value is Admin@123
Sha1 hash of Admin@123 is A29C57C6894DEE6E8251510D58C07078EE3F49BF
If you try to add an NTP server with Key value Admin@123 you'll get above mentioned error.
To resolve this error while adding an NTP server in Key need to specify Sha1 hash value of your original plain text key instead.
Note: One can use online Sha1 hash generator to generate sha1 hash value of your Key.
