Endevor element version control when performing Cobol v6.3 & v4.2 back & forth testing

Issue/Introduction

 

We will perform fallback test from Cobol v6.3 to Cobol v4.2

Q) When we fallback to v4.2, although there should be no impact to application, the version control in Endevor may be wrong. How do we keep the version control correct after fallback? 

 

Environment

Release : 18.0

Component : Endevor Software Change Manager

Resolution

So i can add a new program, it has version 0100.
Then with 2 different processors, set one processor for generate do multiple generates and the version remains at 0100, changing the generate processor and generating again the version remains at 0100.
Version does not change if no code change.
