Idea Work Status Defaulting to an inactive OOTB lookup value

Issue/Introduction

We have a set of custom values for the Work Status field in Ideas for one of our business units. All the other out-of-the box values in the lookup have been deactivated. However, we find that when we create an Idea in the Modern UX, the default value of Work Status is "Requested". The user group wants it to be the custom value "1.1 Initial Intake"

Is it possible to do this?

Release : 15.9.3

Component : CLARITY STUDIO

Resolution

Default value for Work Status is set to "requested" in the studio.

1. You can update the default by going to Administration->Studio and search for idea

2. Click on Attributes and search for Work Status that is where you will see default value set.

Note: The default value once you change will affect everyone creating ideas.
