Stonesoft Firewall missing Firmware Version and Manufacturer info in Spectrum

 

 

 

 

 

Environment

Resolution

1.   Use Spectrum Self Certification Tool to map sysobject OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.1369.5.2 to Model Type Name:  RstoneSwRtr 

2.  Load the STONESOFT-FIREWALL-MIB into Spectrum Mib Tools and map firmware OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.1369.5.2.1.1 to a custom attribute:

NOTE:When making changes with Model Type Editor the changes need to be made exactly the same on every landscape OR the catalog needs to be saved and reloaded on every landscape.  This does not apply to fault tolerant secondary servers.

Use caution when making edits under Model Type Editor.

Here are the Model Type Editor Steps to change:

3. Stop SpectrumServer.

4. Launch MTE

5. Update Manufacturer attribute 0x00010032 to StoneSoft (Text String)

6.   Map firmware Version

7. Commit changes:

8.  Start SpectroServer.
