Unable to delete an default value attribute from Investment Object

Issue/Introduction

After recreating attribute with lookup value we are unable to delete attribute:

Error: The selected attributes can't be deleted as they are being used. The error conditions are marked below

Environment

Clarity 16.0

Resolution

Remove the global audit trial  (administration > data administration > audit trial) set on the affected attribute and then delete attribute.
