PWP reaching 100% for short periods

Issue/Introduction

The PWP reached 100%, in reviewing the log it shows server routine and Time critical DB Calls.

Any idea what caused the PWP to reach 100%?  

 

 

Environment

Release : 12.3

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Cause

This was happening at the same time each night (very early morning) and turned out to be at the same time that the database index rebuilds were happening.

Resolution

This was not causing an issue, was just a concern that the PWP was spiking to 100%.
