Issue/Introduction

When initializing a branch for a client on github, the initialization does not finish successfully and JCP log shows:

U00045014 Exception 'java.lang.IllegalStateException: "No meta data entry found for file name: OBJECT.NAME.xml"' at 'com.automic.repository.core.metadata.RepositoryMetaDataHelper.lambda$writeMetaDataForLink$2():69'.

Resolution

Troubleshooting:
As a cause has not been found, before taking the steps below, the best action is to take a transport case of the client using the db unload utility and submit a ticket to Broadcom Support in order to see if a cause can be found.  The issue is sporadic and has not been successfully reproduced on demand.

Workaround:

1. Go into the AWI and search for the object shown in the error (OBJECT.NAME in the example above)
2. Right-click the object and choose "Transport" -> "Export", export it to file
3. Delete the object from the AWI
4. Import the .xml export from step 2
5. Remove the contents of the automationengine /bin/ae-filesystem/[client number]
6. Re-initialize the branch
