Error: code 1001 resulting from missing "SM_ " Policy Store variables

Issue/Introduction

 

Noticing errors in the Policy Server smps.log:

Environment

Cause

 

Checking the Policy Store database and noticed "VARnames" missing from the database:

These variables are present in working system: 

1001 warning messages are because the query to retrieve the additional fields expects/requires these additional fields to be returned in the queries but they are returning as NULL.

 

Resolution

 

1- Login to AdminUI 

2- Click on Infrastructure -> Authentication -> Authentication Schemes

   

3- Select the Authentication scheme being used (Scheme type: SAML Post Template)

   
    

4- Scroll down on the page in section "Namespace Specification" check and confirm that "Persist Authentication Session Variables" option (1) is checked on:
