SOI Service Queue not Showing Alerts

Issue/Introduction

We are not seeing any alerts in our Service Tab.  There are several events showing up in the Alerts tab that should be visible in the Service tab; but are not.

 

We seem to have had a problem with morning with alerts being generated / received from Spectrum.  But, we restarted the connector and UI services.

 

 

Environment

Release : 4.2

Component : Service Operations Insight (SOI) Manager

Resolution

All CIs were removed from the services due to a problem with the Spectrum Connector.

The Spectrum encounter a Corba object does not exist error and this cause the connector to tell the SOI Manager to delete all CIs from SOI DB.

 

To get get back to the way it was, the only solution was to restore a backup of the Database.
