Issue/Introduction

NetMaster receives error:

BAIPWI12 Invalid zFS path name: Error rc=8 fdbk=199 zFSrc=111 zFSrsn=EF07-6015

IAIN0143 (NM1) Initialization failures have occurred

 

When logging on to NetMaster and selecting failed parameters, it goes to $NM ZFS           zFS Mount Point.  Selecting this, it shows:

zFS Mount Point /usr/lpp/ca/NetMaster/NMC2

which is correct, and mountpoint exists and has correct ownership/permissions.  Selecting f4=Update and pressing enter (not changing anything), returns: BAIPWI12 Invalid zFS path name: Error rc=8 fdbk=199 zFSrc=111 zFSrsn=EF07-6015

Resolution

Compared each directory in the path with a system that is working correctly, and found the ca directory had the wrong ownership and permissions.  Corrected these and cycled NetMaster, and no initialization errors.
