Issue/Introduction

Are the database updates made by DMLO written to the journal?

Component : IDMS/DB

Resolution

DMLO online uses standard DBMS calls to update the database so any updates by DMLO are journaled.

The only exception is if DMLO is run in local mode under TSO. As with any local mode job, the  updates are not journaled.
