The PDSMAN release number is reported in a different number of locations, including report headers, the PDSMAN ISPF Master Menu panel, and the PDSMOPR-02 message issued by the PDSMAN address space. An alternative method, the CHECK command, can be used to report the release number and information about maintenance applied to PDSMAN executable modules.

To execute the CHECK command, go to the ISPF PDSMAN Master Menu and enter CHECK in the COMMAND===> field. The report output from the command is displayed after you press Enter.

The following shows representative, sample report output from the CHECK command:

Field descriptions:

- PDSMINF: shows the Service Pack level and copyright information.
- PDSMAN: shows the currently executing PDSMAN level.
- PANELS: show the level of the PDSMAN panels in the ISPF Panel Library.
- CLISTS: shows the level of TSO CLISTs and REXX EXECs in the TSO CLIST Library.

The remaining entries in the report show the names (EZYCLONE, EZYCTU, etc.) of individual PDSMAN executable modules and the location (e.g. LINKLIST), volume serial, and library name in which they are found. The most recent fix number (in PM76xxx format) is reported if maintenance has been applied to the module or CSECT.

Note that the output of the CHECK command may be changed in future product releases.
