SMF records 70/72 not found under DCIB0010

Issue/Introduction

When extracting SMF 70 & 72 records using SMFUTIL as well as IBM utility, DCIB0010 is not able to find them.

 

Environment

MAINFRAME RESOURCE INTELLIGENCE BASE ASSESSMENT release 2.1

Resolution

These SMF records cannot be found when doing a raw transfer of SMF data.  The resolution is to run the MRICAPSC job instead of transferring raw SMF data.  Or, please note that if not running the MRICAPSC job, the data should at least be tersed.
