Xtraction Dashbaord Challenges

Issue/Introduction
After developing some executive Dashboard currently below are major challenges that are not available
1. Need to remove the default colors(appearing in the Bar/Column/Pie chart) like Grey black etc which we can do from Administration -> Settings. But after removing & adding new Group Colors and saving it, the below error shows.
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
However, on the current session, it shows the newly added colors in the Dashboard but when re-login, it rolls back to default colors which we removed actually.
2. When login to Xtraction, we have to click on My Folders & Then click on available Dashboard, need to make anyone of the Dashboard appear by default as soon as we logged into Xtraction (No Clicking to My Folders, etc)
3. To Create a Dashboard, we need to select a layout to choose a number of boxes & sizes. Most of the time, the default Layout does not fulfill our need, customer always asks for a custom box with different sizes (sometimes fewer boxes, sometimes more boxes) which are not available in the layout. How can we have this with our own choice?

Review Xtraction.Web.Log file after recreating the issue You can find this here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Xtraction Software\Xtraction\Data\Log\
The problem can be from a permissions issue. Please see the following:

Can you take a look at the 'D:\Program Files (x86)\Xtraction Software\Xtraction\Data\Config
Select the Security tab, and verify that the file has the following permissions:
SYSTEM - Full Control
NETWORK SERVICE - Full Control
Administrators - Full Control
Users - Read & Execute, Read
Do you see the same permissions?
If not, Please change the permissions to match the above and retest
