Data Access Error on Reports view in OC after the upgrade

Issue/Introduction

Upgraded UIM to 20.3.3 (from 20.1) and after that the Reports view show Data Access Error

- External Jasper Server 7.1.1

- cabi_external 4.20

- Reports can be executed directly from Jasper

 

Environment

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM OPERATOR CONSOLE - CABI REPORTS AND INTEGRATION

Cause

The communication between the Operator Console (OC) and the Jasper Server on Jasper port need to be allowed. 

If the communication between OC and Jasper on port where the Jasper is configured (8080 in above example) is filtered or blocked the Data Access Error will occur.

Be aware that the error 500 (Chrome Developers Tools) will not necessarily appears in jasperserver.log or operatorconsole.log

Resolution

After confirm the communication is not blocked the list of reports should be loaded without any error.
