Error in TDM Portal when publishing with logical tables

Article ID: 230192

Updated On:

CA Test Data Manager (Data Finder / Grid Tools)

Created a datapool that maps 3 tables: 2 physical tables (that insist on schema DB) and 1 logical table (registered using DataMaker). On the logical table (CUSTOMER_CALC) we excluded all columns from publishing as per below screenshot, because it help us only for some calculations.

From the Datamaker (version 4.9.1027.0) the publish works without error, both on Target DB and on SQL file, from the Portal (version 4.9.383.0) instead it fails both ways.

  1. Error in Publication on target DB2 DB. " Inconsistent Table Definitions "

  1. Error in Publication on SQL File: Unknown Error. Consult TDM Publish log.

Release : 4.9.1

Component : Web Portal - Publishing

When the columns from logical tables are excluded at column level in datamaker, it is not being handled correctly from TDM Portal publish. This was identified as product defect and fixed.

Download the TDM Portal version 4.9.399 from below link and apply it in your environment.

You can use "Web Portal" section of below knowledge article to apply the new patch build.
