Issue/Introduction

Customer found an issue where the variable picker within AWI would create a VARA Reference which leads to an error when executing the JOBP.

 

2. Steps to reproduce (incl. expected/documented vs. actual behavior)

• create a JOBP
• add a task
• edit the task properties
• click the variable picker {&}

  on the 'alias' field

• choose a VARA object and a valid key and column
  => the String will look like this {VA.DRVAT.K13, 001, 1}

  but it needs to look like this

  {VA.DRVAT.K13,001,1}

  to work

Something like the following message may occur:

U00007060 Activation error in 'JOBS.WIN.NEW.105'. Alias name '{1.AE-27623,' is not valid.

Resolution

The issue has been confirmed to be a bug and will be fixed with 

* Automation Engine V12.3.8 - available since February 14th 2022

* Automation Engine V21.0.2 - available since January 24th 2022
