Project edit access and restricting task edit ability

Issue/Introduction

When you have project edit access, you are able to edit tasks. Is this expected behavior? if yes then can you restrict it?

Cause

This is working as designed.

Resolution

There is no way to limit the ability to edit tasks if you have project edit rights.

You could hide the tasks tab completely by inactivating it, but that would be for all users, and the users could still get to the Gantt to add/edit tasks.

With Project - View rights, there is the ability to restrict access to just the view of the project properties page via instance and OBS level with access right: Project - View All Fields, but not with edit rights, as this gives you other project manager rights as well.
