Issue/Introduction

Question on how to deactivate CA1.

Issued TMS STATUS. CA1 is active. Can you tell me when I should reply CANCEL to deactivate CA1?

Cause

Needed to run some tests with CA1 out of the system.

Resolution

To Deactivate CA1:

 - S TMSINIT 
 - Respond to the WTOR with 'R nn,password' to the IEFTMS0 message.  Refer to the TMOOPTxx SHUTDWN parm for the password. The default password is 'CA1(TMS)'

 

Additional Information

To Start CA1 Batch Active:

 - S TMSINIT
 - Respond with 'R nn,password,BATCH' to IEFTMS0 message.  Refer TMOOPTxx SHUTDWN parm. Default 'CA1(TMS).
