Exceptions for Netskope application in agent configuration.

Issue/Introduction

When troubleshooting agent performance issues, it may be necessary to exclude the anti-virus and other security software such as Netskope in the DLP agent configuration.

Environment

Release : 16.x

Component : DLP Endpoint 

Resolution

To insert the exclusions for Netskope, follow these steps:

1. From Enforce, go to System > Agent > Agent Configuration.
2. From the Agent Configuration page, choose the configuration in use, usually it is the "Default Configuration".
3. On the Agent Monitoring tab, click the pencil icon next to the ignore on local drive by path item, usually the first item in the list, to edit it.
4. Add the following exclusions for Netskope Application:
   
   %systemdrive%:\ProgramData\netskope
   %systemdrive%:\ProgramData\netskope
   %systemdrive%:\ProgramData\netskope
   %systemdrive%:\Program Files(x86)\Netskope\STAgent
   %systemdrive%:\Users\Public\netSkope
   
   
5. When finished, click the button Save and apply the agent configuration.
6. Allow a few minutes for the change to propagate to the agents through the Endpoint Server, and test functionality if necessary.
