Deliver - Purging job output when pre-spool processing to Deliver

Issue/Introduction

We have noticed that there was a huge output being transferred to Deliver (via pre-spool processing), but we are trying to purge that output.

As the purge did not happen, when I checked in Deliver, the status was 'OPEN' for that output.

Is there a way to purge that output when Deliver has control on it?

Resolution

If pre-spool processing of a Deliver report is to stop, the following needs to be done:

 . Issue "/F rmostc,OFF", which will stop Deliver and remove the hooks from the system. 

 . Then see if the report can be purged from the spool, as Deliver would stop processng it. 

 . After purging the report from the spool, then start Deliver with "/S rmostc".
