Issue/Introduction

You need to exclude specific web domains from being blocked by SEP

Cause

A False Positive malicious category is associated to a clean URL - You requested already the change of category on Symantec Site Review and you want to allow the clients on your infrastructure to reach the URL during the 24 hours needed for completing the process.

Resolution

1. Log on to the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, and go to the Policies page.
2. Click Exceptions and Add an Exception Policy.
3. On the left side of the policy window, click Exceptions.
4. Click Add > Windows > Trusted Web Domain.
5. Enter the URL you wish to exclude.
6. Click OK, then click OK again.
