Issue/Introduction

How do we remove the default Tomcat home page?

 

Environment

Release : 12.1

Component : CA 7 WORKLOAD AUTOMATION UI

Resolution

 1) Stop the Tomcat Service
 2) Go to the Tomcat directory on the server
 3) Go to /Webapps folder
 4) Open the ROOT folder
 5)  Rename or remove index.jsp, Now if you start the Tomcat and browse http://<ServerName>/<TomcatPort>/, It will display 404 error instead of Tomcat home page
