Why are some alerts generated by AAI not seen in the database?

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE INTEGRATION FOR CA 7

Resolution

There are several reasons why you may not see alerts in the AAI database after time. 

 

1. If you have an alert on a jobstream run that went into an Unknown status and never came out of it, it will eventually expire, and the Alerts associated with that run will be deleted as well.

 

2. If you rebuild a jobstream run history, it will also delete any alerts associated with that jobstream.
