Some special characters are not allowed in password for DB Connection

Issue/Introduction

It seems that there are some special characters that are not allowed in the password for the DB Connection. Do we have a list of the Password Complexity for the DM Connection?

 

Environment

Release : 14.4

Component : Identity Manager

Resolution

 There is was a known problem in 14.4 where special characters would cause the PWDtool to fail which is why your a combination of your special character passwords are failing.

The multi-database installer does not escape special characters (example: $) in the password string.

You will need to install 14.4.1
